There are classes and discussion groups for adults on Sunday mornings. Most of these classes explore a different topic each week, making it convenient to drop in when you can or attend each week. Some meet between worship services, from about 9:40 – 10:20 a.m., others meet after the 10:30 a.m. worship service ends. Information about classes and discussion groups is available in the Dunes Digest newsletter.
Additional studies and discussion groups are held during the week; some meet during the day, others in the evening. Many times, these studies work through a current book on Bible and faith topics, and include discussions and videos. There is a monthly book group that reads and discusses current fiction books (often, New York Times best sellers) that explore stories of courage, human challenges, and inspiration. In addition, there is a weekly, faith-focused, creative workshop led by a local artist. A different project is created each week.
