There are many opportunities for meaningful service to others.

Worship and Music

Church of the Dunes worships on Sunday mornings.  An online worship service is available here on this website and includes both traditional and modern components. Please see the top of this page for up-to-date information about in-person worship services.

Until the spring of 2020, an 8:30 a.m. service included traditional music and worship. At 10:30 a.m., worship included both modern and traditional elements.

Connect and Serve

Church of the Dunes offers activities and events to enjoy food, fun, conversation, and much more.  There are opportunities to participate in efforts that serve those in need both locally and across the globe.

Lifelong Learning

Christian education opportunities are provided for all ages and stages of life. There is a nursery for the very youngest,  and Sunday school classes for children and youth. Each season, there are classes and discussion groups for adults, in addition to ongoing topic-focused discussion groups. Life-long learning, service, and engaging experiences are offered through the Finishing Well ministry for those age 55+.

A Beautiful Setting

Church of the Dunes is located in a wooded setting near the Lake Michigan shore. The church building was designed by renown architect Alden Dow  to blend into the natural setting. Expansive picture windows provide views of changing seasons and wildlife from the worship space. Behind the building, there is a prayer labyrinth that is open to all. A serene remembrance garden is located next to the labyrinth, under the forest canopy.

Church of the Dunes is a welcoming place to worship, and a vibrant place to connect, engage, grow, and make a difference.
