Music is very important to Church of the Dunes. A range of traditional and contemporary styles of music are included in worship services.
Church of the Dunes enjoys offering activities and events for food, fun, conversation, and much more. There are also opportunities to participate in efforts that serve those in need both locally and across the globe.
Christian education opportunities are provided for all ages and stages of life. Each season, there are classes and discussion groups for adults, in addition to ongoing topic-focused discussion groups. Life-long learning, service, and engaging experiences are offered through the Finishing Well ministry for those age 55+.
Church of the Dunes is located in a natural, wooded area near the Lake Michigan shore. Expansive picture windows in the worship space offer views of the beautiful landscape outside. The building was designed by renown architect Alden Dow to blend into the setting. Behind the building, there is a prayer labyrinth that is open to all. A serene remembrance garden is located next to the labyrinth, under the forest canopy.
