Ash Wednesday

Our Lenten journey will begin on Wednesday, February 10, 2016:

  • 8:30 a.m. Service with Imposition of Ashes – Per closing policy, if Pastor Glenn can make it to church, services WILL still be held.
  • 9:15 a.m. Breakfast (R.S.V.P.)
  • 5:30 p.m. Supper in Social Hall – Note that the supper time has changed: it is expanded to begin at 5:15 p.m.
  • 6:30 p.m. Family Ash Wednesday Service and Imposition of Ashes
  • 7:15 p.m. Lenten Study

Lenten Study: John – The Gospel of Light and Love

John by Adam HamiltonJoin us in the exploration of the identity and meaning of Jesus, and experience a Lenten season of spiritual growth and life-changing renewal.

This study, suitable for the beginner to the more advanced Bible study student, will be led by Jan Stuart, who brings a wealth of relevant information and experience to the study.

On Ash Wednesday, February 10, we will meet at 7:15 p.m. following the service and beginning February 17, we will meet from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. to discuss a chapter reading and the corresponding Sermon presented by Pastor Glenn.

Maundy Thursday, March 24

  • Seder Meal, 6:30 p.m. (Click here to register online)
    Rabbi Alan Alpert from Temple B’Nai Israel will lead us in a traditional Passover Seder meal.
    The cost is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.

Good Friday, March 25

  • Family Service with Tenebrae at 7:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday, March 27

  • Services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.
