These (below) are just some of the family-friendly activities and events that have been held in the past.

Family Movies

The BIG screen is set up, the popcorn is ready, and it’s time to gather with family and friends for a family-friendly movie.

Campout at Church

A hot dog supper, s’mores, games and an outdoor movie are parts of this fun, family event.

Vacation Bible School

Songs, games, activities, and crafts bring Bible stories to life and makes happy summer memories.

Trunk or Treat

Members and friends of the church decorate the trunks of their cars, and stash them full of treats so children from the church and community can trunk or treat in the church parking lot.

"Big Game" Football Party

In late January, we gather for lots of snacks and watch the Super Bowl (and the commercials) on a big-screen TV.

Christmas Caroling

Teams of carolers (singing in the key of “joyful”) visit home-bound church members and others with carols and a message of Christmas love and joy.

Out for Fun

There have been pizza parties, river rafting trips, mini golfing adventures, bonfires, visits to the trampoline center, Halloween activities, and more.

Graduate Recognition

Each year, Church of the Dunes has a special recognition Sunday for  high school graduates.

Special Presentations

Children and Youth music groups at Church of the Dunes team up to create and present seasonal musical programs.
