20-SOMETHINGS WEEKLY MEETINGS
We meet on Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:00 p.m. in the Ryder Lounge, and all 20-somethings (persons ages 18+) are invited to join us.
We are a group of young adults who meet every week to discuss everything under the sun! Whether God is a casual acquaintance or life-long friend, we welcome you to join us! Our conversations range from what you saw on Netflix this week to tackling the hard questions in life.
Every month we have a weekend event that so far has included: scavenger hunts, community service, escape rooms, and endless game nights! Check out our Facebook page for more information and updates: UMCD 20Somethings (18-35) Group Bible Study
Hope to see you there!
According to Bill G., “It is a great opportunity to study the Word and to have fellowship with people my age. I like studying topics that are relevant in my life and what the Bible says about it. I believe it will help grow my faith. It is a great time worshipping our Lord with people my age.” When asked what one word would describe the experience, James L. responded: “uplifting.”
Top 5 Reasons to Join UMCD 20-somethings:
- Uplifting: Unwind, release stress and re-prioritize your life
- Meet new people
- Connect with others exploring their faith
- Develop leadership and ministry skills: Welcome your friends, introduce them to Christ and practice discipleship
- 20-somethings know how to have fun!
